At Rafter’s Gastro Pub we do all the work and you have all the fun! We can tailor event packages to your needs. For outdoor activities such as Go-Karting, Kilkenny Activity Centre etc., we can arrange transport, lunches and direct payment for group to event company. This way you don’t have to worry about a thing!

Arriving by Bus or Train? We are a 10 minute walk from the Train Station. If you want a taxi we recommend  Sevens 7’s Taxi service to transfer you from the Bus/Train Station to Rafter’s Gastro Pub. Telephone 056 777777.

Stag Party Dinner Special – €15 per person – Grilled Minute Steak, Rafters Gourmet Burger or Spiced Chicken Ciabatta. Must be prebooked.

1 night dinner and bed & breakfast – €65 (Friday), €75 (Saturday)

2 nights bed & breakfast and 1 dinner €120

  • What can I say about Olive, Gerry and Mikayla. We went to a stag all 20 something of us. We where treated like royalty from the second we went in until we left this morning. Gerry and Olive couldn't do enough for us. Our steak was unreal thank u very much between the whole lot of ye you know exactly what you are at. Gerry. Olive and Mikayla, thank u so much.

  • Had an outstanding weekend in Kilkenny for stag party. Highly recommended Rafter Dempsey's ,, great friendly service from the minute we arrived until we departed., Food was top quality,, for breakfast get the full Irish, beats any hotel. Rooms were ideal and clean. We will be back!
